The Company initiated its first on-line store and shopping cart in December of 2006 as a starting point to learn and grow this web-based business initiative. Naartjie plans to implement a fully updated web-based platform and new shopping cart in June 2008; incorporating a large measure of our loyal customer feedback in the development process.

Methods of Payment

For our customers shopping in our stores, Naartjie gladly accepts checks, cash and the following credit cards for your shopping convenience:

• Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover
• We also accept ATM cards with Visa and MasterCard logos only

For customers shopping by phone, e-mail to stores or through our on line store, payments must be made using any of the accepted credit cards noted above.

Sorry, we cannot accept payment by check or money orders for phone orders, email orders or shopping cart orders

Customer Holds

As a special service and convenience to our customers we do allow for in-store merchandise holds under the following guidelines:

• In-store holds will be a maximum of 2 days
• In-store hold items must be purchased within the 2 day hold period or they will removed from hold on the start of the third day.
• Phone and e-mail based orders through a store may not be held for shipping longer than 5 days to facilitate the completion of the order and shipping process.

Adjustments

• Stores offer a one-time price adjustment when an original sales receipt is presented within 7 days of the original purchase date.
• This policy may not apply on individually specified special promotions.

Returns & Exchanges

The Naartjie Team, from design through manufacturing, takes great pride in the high standard of quality of our merchandise.

• Our clothing surpasses the industry standard for shrinkage and color fastness
• Since our clothing is pre-washed and pre-shrunk you do not need to buy a size larger than your children normally wears to allow for shrinkage.
• We stand behind the quality of our merchandise. Should you experience any quality problems or defects in our merchandise simply return it for a full refund or exchange.

Store Returns & Exchanges

Naartjie will gladly accept returns or exchanges within 60 days of the original purchase date. Items must be unworn and unwashed with all original tags intact.

• Bring your purchase receipt or entire packing slip to any Naartjie store. With receipt, exchange or return your purchase/order and receive a full refund/exchange in the original form of payment.
• Without receipt, exchanges will be at current selling price for an item of equal value or we can offer a store credit.
• Valid identification is required for all returns and exchanges without an original receipt or to receive or redeem a merchandise credit. Valid identification includes driver's license, military ID, state/province issued ID or passport.
• If your return was a gift, bring in your “gift receipt” to facilitate your return/exchange.

Returning/Exchanging Items by Mail

With every order we ship we include a merchandise or gift receipt. Please keep your receipt to facilitate your mail return/exchange and follow these instructions to return your purchase by mail.

• Credits for returns on phone or Internet orders will be issued in the original form of payment for the purchase price paid or value of merchandise exchanged within 60 days of purchase.
• Exchanges will also be based on price paid and must be made within 60 days of purchase.
• Please include original receipt and/or transaction number with the merchandise.

For store phone orders, return items to original store through which the purchase was placed and include a note clearly indicating what you are returning, the reason for the return and the action to be taken, such as return or exchange. Be as specific as possible regarding your request(s)

For Internet orders, return items to the Naartjie Online Store address listed below and include your receipt or packing slip with a note clearly indicating what you are returning and the reason for the return. Only returns can be accepted.

• Exchanges cannot be processed through our Internet store. In order to purchase different sizes or colors, items must be reordered.
• Pack your return securely.
• For online purchases we offer a onetime price adjustment within 7 days of the date of original purchase. For an on-line adjustment please e-mail us at websales@naartjie.com and include you original transaction number and specify your request.
• Packages must be returned prepaid. We do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
• Naartjie will gladly refund shipping charges in the following instances
• Naartjie sent the wrong item to you.
• The item is defective
• In these instances, we will also waive shipping charges on the replacement items.

Domestic Ordering & Shipping Services

1. Domestic Shipping Services
• Customers may order Naartjie merchandise directly through our online shopping cart or by calling or mailing the Naartjie store of their choice. Check our Naartjie store listing for stores that are set up to accept phone orders.
• Domestic Shipping & Handling charges, as listed in the chart below, are the same for either process.
• For all phone and e-mail orders placed through one of our stores, please limit your correspondence to one store of your choice to expedite the ordering and shipping process. The store of your choice will try to accommodate your requests and/or recommend alternatives for your shopping convenience.
• Naartijie will ship to most locations within the United States, Military (APO/FPO) addresses and U.S. Territories.
• We ship United Postal Service Priority Mail. Shipping & Handling charges, as outlined below, are based on your total purchase amount before taxes.
• All Standard orders received Monday through Saturday through our shopping cart are generally processed within 2 days. For some major promotional events processing may take an additional day.
• USPS delivery normally takes 3 to 8 days after order processing for most locations within the U.S.
• Deliveries through the U.S. Postal Service are made Monday through Saturday (holidays excluded).

2. Multiple Shipping Addresses

• Shop for everyone on your list in a single transaction. When you request us to ship items from one order to different addresses within the United States or internationally, you will be billed based on the retail amount shipped to each individual address.
• Orders to be shipped through our online shopping cart and going to different mailing addresses will require a separate order transaction process for each mailing address.


International Ordering & Shipping Services

1. Shipping Services to Canada & Japan
• Our customers in Canada & Japan may order directly through our online Naartjie Shopping Cart or directly through the store of your choice as noted above.
• Shipping & handling costs are the same for shopping cart orders, phone orders and email orders. • Orders shipping Standard to Canada and Japan are now delivered via USPS First Class
International or USPS Priority Mail International and are typically delivered within 10 to 14 business days.
• Tracking is not available with this service.
• We can ship to P.O. boxes with Standard service.
• All orders received Monday through Saturday via our online shopping cart are generally processed within 2 days. For some major promotional events processing may take an additional day.
• A shipping confirmation email will be sent to the person placing the order when the order is shipped.
• Payments for all orders are in U.S. funds.
• Duties and taxes are not reflected in our prices. The carriers will charge the recipient (including gift recipients) all applicable duties, taxes and/or brokerage fees at the time of delivery.
• For information about duties, taxes and/or brokerage fees, you may contact your local customs office.

Note: Canadian Customs limits imports of textile products to $1,600 Canadian dollars per day for individuals who are not licensed importers. Orders in excess of these limits will be stopped at Canadian Customs and may be returned to Naartjie. Please do not exceed these order amounts.

2. Shipping to Other International Countries
All orders and ship-to locations outside of the USA and its Territories, Canada and Japan may be placed by phone or e-mail to the Naartjie store of your choice. Check our store listing for participating stores. Please limit your correspondence to one store to expedite the ordering and shipping process.
• Orders shipping Standard to other international destinations are now delivered via USPS First Class International or USPS Priority Mail International and are typically delivered within 10 to14 business days from shipping date.
• Tracking is not available with this service.
• A shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent to the person placing the order when the order is shipped.
• Payments for all orders are in U.S. funds.
• Shipping and handling fees for shipping destinations outside of USA and its Territories, Canada and Japan will be charged based on the actual cost of shipping. This cost is based on the total shipping weight charge plus a $2.00 charge for packaging/processing. You will be notified of the total shipping & handling charge from the store prior to any billing.
• Duties and taxes are not reflected in our prices. The carriers will charge the recipient (including gift recipients) all applicable duties, taxes and/or brokerage fees at the time of delivery.
